Your first visit, without the surprises.
An hour, an honest look, a written plan and a price. Nothing happens on the first visit that you did not agree to.

Insurance and payment
We bill most PPO plans directly and tell you your share before we start. No insurance? The fee is the same, and a 5% discount applies when you pay on the day. Card, HSA and monthly plans through the front desk.
What happens at the first visit?
A conversation first, in a chair that is not the dental one. Then X-rays, a full exam, a cleaning if there is time, and a written plan with prices. Expect an hour.
I have not been to a dentist in years. Will I get a lecture?
No. About a third of our new patients say exactly this. We look, we tell you what we see, we sort out what matters first. Nobody here has time to be disappointed in you.
Do you see children?
Yes, from age one. The first visit under three is free and mostly involves counting teeth and handing out a sticker. Saturday mornings are kept for families.
What if I am nervous?
Say so when you book and we will put you with Alma or Dr Hollis. Headphones, a hand signal to stop, breaks whenever you want them, and sedation for anything longer if you would like it.
Where do I park?
Two hours free in the garage under the building, entrance on NW 11th. Or the streetcar stops at the door.
How much is a check-up?
A new patient exam with X-rays is $189. A routine cleaning is $129. Both prices are the same with or without insurance.
